One of the benefits of collecting only O-Pee-Chee baseball is that the need list has not changed in almost a decade. In fact the need list hadn’t changed in 14 years after the demise of the the stand alone brand before Upper Deck briefly revived it as an insert in 2008 and then a standalone in 2009. As they are not currently licensed to produce baseball, it seems same that the brand will be dormant for a while.
So, when I get a chance to add a whack of 2009 O-Pee-Chee at the same time, I jump at it as I know it will move the dial on my want list in a permanent downward way.
Total O-Pee Chee Branded Cards* Total that I have Expressed as a percentage
So, 12.80%. Every new O-Pee-Chee card adds to the total I have and adjusts the % by .004% woohoo.
The design of the cards is simple and clean. A majority of the cards are posed, but there are enough game action shots to make it interesting. The Black Border Parallel really pops as well. Such a nice set. If it had French on the back it would be perfect.
